Continue your learning - With 30 days of unrestricted access to all recorded live conference sessions, and OnDemand Content, attendees can re-watch or catch up on anything they missed. The exhibition hall also remains open as a resource for upcoming procurement needs.

Schedule meetings in advance of the event – Use our meeting system to search and filter by area of interest, and the system will recommend people meeting that criteria. Simply select a preferred meeting time, and an email invitation will be sent, requesting an RSVP. Confirmed meetings will be displayed in your diary when logging onto the event platform on our live days.

FTE APEX VIRTUAL EXPO

FTE APEX Virtual Expo 2021 will champion bold new ideas, solutions, collaboration & innovation efforts to ensure we achieve an industry recovery that makes air transport even stronger in the long-term. Through a diverse exhibition showcasing the industry’s most forward thinking vendors and all-encompassing conference sessions, Virtual Expo will deliver a wealth of networking opportunities and inspiration across the most pertinent topics – from transforming the travel experience through digital health passports and automation at the airport, through to enhancing the onboard experience through inflight entertainment and connectivity, interiors, service and catering, hospitality and retail. Following the live days on May 25-26th where engagement between participants is prioritised, the platform will live on for another 30 days to provide attendees with ideas, and knowledge, at any time convenient to their schedule. This event will give you fresh perspectives on what is possible in a world that has seen 10 years of change in just one year, and how-to best power your recovery efforts and future-proof your next wave of propositions and strategies.

ATTENDEE QUESTIONS

The event will open on the 25th May 2021. Prior to this date, access will be restricted to exhibitors building their stands, only.

We recommend using Chrome as your internet browser to access the event platform.
Just search ‘Chrome’ from your computer start menu and enter the above URL (web address) in the top.

During the event-once logged into the virtual event platform, you’ll see a profile logo in the top right-hand corner of the page. Click to add a photo, or adjust your name, job title or company name.
Yes! As part of your registration, you will be invited to upload a profile photo. This will be displayed as part of your Virtual Expo profile for the purposes of making industry connections.

If you want to change your photo come the event days - once on the virtual event platform in the top right-hand corner, you’ll see your name and a profile logo, which will look like this. Click on this profile logo and select ‘Update Profile Picture’.

If you are unable to access the Auditorium, OnDemand Speaker Zone and/or Premium Pass Chat Room, it is likely because you have registered on an Expo Only pass.

With an expected attendance of 4,000+ industry executives from across the globe, FTE and our event partners are excited to provide a platform that offers supercharged in-real-time networking. Please refer to the FTE website for an outline of the various means of connecting with your fellow attendees during the event. *Open to Premium Pass Holders only.
Upon logging into the FTE APEX Virtual Expo site, you will be taken to the event lobby, from here you will see several ‘doors’ leading to the ‘Exhibition’, ‘Auditorium’ etc.
From the event lobby, click on the door titled ‘Exhibition’ or select ‘exhibition’ from the navigation menu. Click on the name of the exhibitor you are interested in to be taken directly to their stand; alternatively select ‘Click here to scroll the exhibition floor’ to view all exhibition stands at your leisure.
You will now see a scrolling exhibition hall with booths designed with each supplier’s branding. Scroll through the exhibition or search the directory for vendors suiting your area of interest.
To engage with an exhibitor, click on their stand. From here, you can explore the resources available, or select to network via text, voice, or video chat. A selection of exhibitors will also be offering scheduled product demos streamed directly from suppliers’ own offices and factory floors.
When clicking to enter the exhibition you will see a graphic displaying a list of all our exhibition companies. We have categorised our exhibiting companies into categories for ease of exploring supplies that suit your area of interest. Simply click on the company’s name to be taken directly to their stand.
You can also use the search function, located above the navigation menu when in the lobby.

The Virtual Expo Auditorium features both live and pre-recorded content, which is made available to our attendees at a scheduled time. This content is then made available for viewing as ‘OnDemand’ content which can be viewed at any time. Sessions are converted into OnDemand Content within 2 hours of their broadcast, and hosted on the ‘Available to watch’ tab in the auditorium.
The OnDemand Speaker Zone is pre-recorded content uploaded onto the Virtual Expo platform, ready for viewing as soon as the event opens.
Both Auditorium and OnDemand content is available for the 30-days the event platform remains open.
Please note, the conferences are open to Premium pass holders only.

In our Auditorium, all sessions that have already taken place, we be made available on the ‘Available to watch tab’. Live sessions may take up to 2 hours to be converted and added.
The OnDemand Speaker Zone features a plethora of pre-recorded content, available for viewing at a time that suits you.
Premium Pass holders will be able to view a full attendee list as part of the Virtual Expo site. Here you will be able to search and filter by area of interest to find attendees you might be interested in connecting with. Send a meeting invitation for a voice/video call or send a messages to engage and start a conversation.
We are excited to encourage our attendees to participate in the live product demonstrations hosted by our exhibiting companies.
Waiting to connect with you directly from their factory floor or within their office facilities, you can view their solution/products, in real time. Exhibitors can walk around the product and showcase exactly how it works. Attendees can ask questions, receive further information and suppliers can adjust their demonstration to suit your needs.

If you already know of a question you’d like to ask a speaker, please feel free to submit this to us via our attendee support form on the FTE website. During the event, some of our sessions will also have an open discussion forum – submit a question or start a debate here.
The virtual expo site will remain open until 23:59 on the 25 June 2021.
There is unrestricted access to all recorded live conference sessions, and OnDemand Content, attendees can re-watch or catch up on anything they missed. The exhibition hall also remains open as a resource for upcoming procurement needs.
Our conference sessions are available for viewing solely through the virtual expo platform and are not available for downloading unfortunately.
However, we invite attendees to continue using the event platform for the 30 days it remains live, to revisit and re-watch our conference content.
The networking features of the site will be disabled after our two live event days.
Attendees are however, invited to use the ‘MESSAGE’ feature available on each of our exhibitors stands, should they wish to reach out and learn more about their solution.
To encourage all attendees to make the very most of their time in the FTE APEX Virtual Expo, we are offering complimentary premium attendance worth $250 to those committing to visit and engage with companies (via video or audio call) at least one of our inspirational exhibitors whilst attending the show whose support to the event is fundamental to our ability to stage it. There are many great companies to meet with products, services and solutions that could help your organisation thrive in the post-COVID-19 world.
After the event we will analyse your networking engagement with your fellow attendees and exhibiting companies.

EXHIBITOR QUESTIONS

Attendees who visit your stand will appear in your chat room. You can keep your chat room open and visible throughout any ‘room’ of the Virtual Expo platform, allowing for you to explore the exhibition and/or watch conference content all whilst keeping an eye on your chat room.
New to 2021 our exhibitors also have access to their dedicated back-office site for viewing analytics and downloading reports. You will be able to view details of anyone who may have visited your stand whilst offline and drop them a follow-up message via the attendee list. This will generate an email notification to the attendee, inviting them to revisit the event site to continue communications or arrange a suitable time for a chat at a later date.
Attendees who visit your stand will appear in your chat room.

    Please go via the original booth link which was provided to create your stand. The link is an auto-login and does not require a username or password, it would have been sent to whoever set up your stand. If you do not have access to this link please ask a member of the FTE team to re-send it to you.
    Please check the link you have uploaded in the backend of your stand design. If the link is working when you copy and paste it into your browser then try converting it with the below tool and pasting in the URL provided on the form. The system will be updated every hour.

    The system needs to be updated at the backend. An update will take place hourly so please be patient.
    The number of representatives on your stand is based on your contract. Additional premium passes above those included in your package can be purchased at 50% of the standard Vendor rate at $125.00 per pass. All exhibitor registrations take place via your personalised booth link, after your included passes have been registered the form will automatically update so you can register any additional passes you require at a cost of $125 each.
    Please add an announcement (pencil icon) within your ‘chat’ stating when you will next be available and mention any colleagues who will be able to assist in your absence.
    The number of representatives on your stand is based on your contract.
    The schedule is available to view from the lobby or information desk signage or select from the navigational menu.
    We also recommend promoting your own schedule on your stand and inviting people to attend via your chat function and the meeting system. You should launch the meeting link which you set up and submitted via the Product Demo Link Form at your allocated time slot, attendees will then join your event.
